Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Astro Soul collects, why it is used, where it may be processed, and the choices you have when using the chart library and personalized readings.

1. Information we collect

  • Birth-chart inputs such as birth date, birth time when provided, birthplace, and the coordinates resolved from that place.
  • Account information such as your email address and account identifier when you sign in or create an account.
  • Saved chart data, generated readings, generation status, and library settings needed to restore your content across sessions or devices.
  • Purchase-access metadata such as product, entitlement, payment status, currency, and transaction references. Astro Soul does not store your full card number or bank credentials.
  • Limited technical data such as error logs, request timing, browser/session state, and security events used to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse.

2. How we use information

  • Calculate and display your natal chart and related technical data.
  • Generate personalized readings and keep them attached to the correct saved chart.
  • Authenticate accounts, sync your library, send account emails, and recover access.
  • Create checkout sessions, confirm paid access, process refund-related entitlement changes, and maintain purchase records.
  • Investigate failures, protect the service, improve generation quality, and maintain compatibility across devices.

3. Automated and AI-assisted processing

Some long-form readings are produced with automated astrology calculations and configured AI model providers. Chart-derived context and report instructions may be sent to those providers when a reading is generated. Account email addresses are not required for the astrology interpretation itself.

Generated text can contain mistakes or interpretations you may disagree with. Astro Soul keeps technical chart evidence separate where possible so you can verify the underlying placements and timing data.

4. Service providers

Astro Soul uses third-party services to operate the product. Depending on the feature, this can include hosting and deployment providers, Supabase for account/database services, Alibaba Cloud DirectMail for transactional email, Dodo Payments for checkout and Merchant of Record services, and configured AI model providers for report generation.

These providers process information only as needed to provide their part of the service and may operate in countries or regions different from yours.

5. Payments

Paid digital products are processed through Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. Payment details entered at checkout are handled by Dodo Payments and its payment partners. Astro Soul receives the transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock, maintain, or revoke access, rather than your full payment credentials.

6. Storage, retention, and deletion

Saved charts and generated readings can remain in your account library until you delete them or request account/data removal. The browser may also keep local reading state so an unfinished or completed report can be restored on the same device.

You can delete an individual saved chart from the account menu. For account-level deletion or another privacy request, contact us at the address below. Some transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, or compliance records may need to be retained where required by law or by the Merchant of Record.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated account access, server-side entitlement checks, signed payment webhooks, and transport encryption provided by our infrastructure partners. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices

  • You can use the first chart-reading experience without providing a real name.
  • If you do not know your exact birth time, you can use the date-only flow; the product will limit claims that depend on an exact time.
  • You can delete saved charts, sign out, clear browser data, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

9. Age and local requirements

Astro Soul is intended for people who can lawfully provide their information and enter digital transactions. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, use the service only with that consent.
